Pure and undefined religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
James 1:27

 New Beginnings Domestic Program
Top
This is an incredible program at I.C.A.

I.C.A. holds contracts with County Department of Children's Services programs and networking resources throughout the nation. Literally thousands of children are available for adoption in this program.

Children within the Department of Social Services system have experienced great loss. They need positive families that they can love and that will love them back. Some are special needs children with some physical, emotional, or social limitations. The vast majority of these children are developmentally on target with few limitations. There is an over abundance of children over the age of 4, sibling groups, and mixed race children.

You may feel equipped to parent a "special needs" child or you may desire to be trained to parent a special needs child. You may not feel adequate to parent a special needs child. No matter what your parenting skill may be or the type of child desired. We can help.

There are also financial and medical incentives available exclusively in this program, making the cost of this adoption virtually non-existent.

In state and out of state families welcome.

Fees in this program are based on the need of the family and child/replaced.
Domestic Infant & Older Children Program
Top
Generally speaking, this program receives children directly from birth parents who choose adoption. These adoptions are predominantly healthy infants, but we get some older children and sibling groups. Birth parents choose adoptive families from profiles; meet the adoptive family; and more typically have an open adoption. The openness in the adoption varies from pictures and letters sent through the agency, to actually have on going communication and visits throughout the child's life.
 Identified Placement Program
Top
This program is when the birth parents (actual parents of a baby to be born, older children, or sibling set) want to place their child for adoption directly with you. This can happen internationally or domestically.

Domestic Placements: Normally a birth mother has contacted you directly or through friends, relatives, an adoption facilitator, an attorney or out of state agency. You may need us for only partial services like relinquishment and counseling or home study and supervision services. Whatever the situation, we can assist.

International Placements: You contact us because you are looking for partial services. Perhaps you only need a home study and supervision ( i.e. a relative has been identified in a foreign country and is "orphaned" by law or you are working with another agency who has identified a child for you ). In either case our job is to perform "state side" services for you...which include holding your hand, listening, and helping you get through the myriads of paperwork and frustrations.
